Amie & Robby’s Signature Wedding

Casa Romantica was the perfect setting to celebrate the marriage of Amy and Robby. With Amy’s Latin flair and their relationship filled with deep amor, the two made themselves right at home in their private abode. Talented and fun-spirited Debra Gulbas Photography captured every signature detail, from the beautiful tropical colored florals by Flower Company of San Clemente to the delicious food, top-notch service and beautiful presentation provided by the always amazing Jay’s Catering. The grand exit lined with sparklers sent our bride and groom off on their new and exciting journey. We wish you the best Amie & Robby!

It’s All About The Dramatic Entrance

This has got to be the most dramatic bride’s entrance I have coordinated. The hike up the mountain was an adventure plowing through Catalina Island’s interior landscape of Spring time’s overgrown weeds and plants. But when the bride’s processional music commenced, guests heads turned from right to left, anticipating the bride’s arrival, never expecting she would be fluttering down the tall hill. What a vision…it was breathtaking and so emotional! Truly one of the most unique and grand ceremony entrances I have witnessed. And guests too because they couldn’t stop talking about it!

Details

My May weddings have kept me on my toes, each filled with unique, personal details from beginning to end. From the vows to the toasts, I don’t think I have cried and laughed more at weddings than from this month’s celebrations. I can’t wait to receive the professional photos which will bring to life the real experiences. In the meantime, here is a snapshot of one of the weddings…

Genevieve & Scott at Saddlerock Ranch, Malibu
Their yellow & white country-themed wedding meshed perfectly with the beautiful rustic vineyard setting. Each table displayed it’s own unique tablescape that kept guests roaming around to check out all of the details. And talk about food galore…starting with mini-comfort food appetizers followed by an Italian themed family style dinner…then mini cupcakes, a candy buffet, and a late-night snack of soft pretzels, caramel popcorn and donuts!!!

Feliz Cinco De Mayo

Here are some colorful Mexican-inspired ideas in honor of today’s festive celebration. Enjoy…salud!
