A passion for weddings and planning events has always been a part of Monique’s persona and so many life experiences has led her to where she is today. Monique grew up in an environment of throwing parties and fundraisers, and creating vision boards with cut outs from Brides Magazine was her favorite childhood pastime. She even designed her prom dress after a wedding gown! And she met her husband while a Bridesmaid at a wedding! When Monique obtained her MBA, she knew she would be a business owner some day! Her extensive experience working in marketing, advertising and hospitality equipped her with the tools and experience she needed to successfully run and grow a business, manage clients and projects with detail and diligence, and think outside the box. Through her travels and having lived in Spain and Mexico where she acquired fluency in Spanish, Monique brings to the table a keen love of diversity and culture. It was the opportunity from an established Wedding Consultant that would open her eyes to her dream career, now her reality! After a few years of on the job training, mentorship, and education, A Signature Wedding was born in 2004. With over 200 weddings and events under her belt, Monique’s passion for wedding planning continues and her expertise is evident!
