The Countdown Is On

As we ring in the new year, we are so excited for the new weddings that are before us. Danielle and Brandon will be getting married in April at the beautiful Terranea Resort. We can’t wait to coordinate their signature wedding!

Here’s a glimpse of some shots from their engagement shoot taken by a husband & wife photography team in Texas- Austin Imagery (where Brandon is from). Can’t wait to work with them along with the amazing vendor team we’ve been assembling:)

Your big day is just around the corner Danielle & Brandon…looking forward to it!

You Are The Apple Of My Eye

Slate, silver, white and apple green- a hot, haute, hot color palette for 2011! Fresh, sophisticated and fun…just think of all of the easy ways you can splash some green into your day: apple green licorice; limes; granny smith apples; apple martinis; mint garnish; pistachio ice cream; green grapes; green cymbidium orchids; and don’t forget some Heineken!

Here’s some inspiration…

Excitement to the nth Degree

Nicole and Joe stand out in my mind for being one of my most excited couples to get married this year. They both shared this crazy positive energy and were not afraid to express their excitement with laughs, tears, shout outs and even jumps.  Just watching them lit up our smiles to the max!

Here’s a glimpse of our HAPPY couple…

And check out a clip from their video by WeddingPro Video…like I said, excitement to the nth degree…

I miss you Nicole and Joe…keep your spirits and love soaring!

A Lot Of Firsts….

Because every client is so unique, we are always imbuing new ideas into our clients weddings to make them truly signature.  This client was no exception.  And as I look back on their wedding, I realize there were a lot of firsts for me…they were my first Peruvian and Colombian client (which I loved because I got to speak Spanish all the time…even at the Rehearsal with their families)…

(the beautiful couple)

…using Andean style musicians…

(I took this photo)

integrating traditional Peruvian dancers…and stilt walkers (which kicked the party up to the next level)

and trying Pisco for the first time (in my home of course- after the event!!!)

Here is a look at some of their beautiful signature details…

Felicidades Yolanda y Nelson!
