MarA Signature Wedding participated this weekend in Joie de Vivre’s chic bridal fair at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach. Our beautiful centerpiece created by the talented Kerim at My Wedding Blooms, was admired by all. Our table was accented with the stunning linens by Designer Specialty Linens.
Hotel Maya is a fusion of beach chic with a vibrant Latino flair. A margarita is called for upon your arrival. Love the hot pink that permeates throughout the hotel. The ocean front ceremony site transports you to the romantic Mexican Riviera. The ballrooms are diverse: one provides a spectacular view while the other provides a modern ambiance. Hotel Maya creates a destination-like experience that will be enjoyed by all!

SepMayanne & Danny’s wedding at Pacific Hills in Laguna was awesome! A large wedding with over 400 guests. Mayanne looked gorgeous in a very ornate gown and even more detailed cathedral veil (crazy how much it weighed!). Being Middle Eastern, they leveraged their culture as their “theme”, from Middle Eastern Dancers to a huge martini luge with a palm tree & camels. Each table displayed a number of appetizers and bottles on the table. Pacific Hills staff were professional and on top of it! Their escort card table was filled with sand and precious Middle Eastern family artifacts that added a sentimental touch. Mayanne & Danny departed in style with an exotic limo provided by Excel Fleet Limo. Photographer, Brett Charles Rose, & Videographer, Kleer Picture Films, were non stop shooting. Also, the photo booth provided by Photo Booth Pro was perfect to accommodate our large crowd and their high quality photos were consistent throughout the night! I’ll share the professional photos upon receipt. Until then, enjoy a few I took.

JunI got a call yesterday from MTV Tr3s’ Producer, asking if any of my Latin clients would be interested in being considered for their up and coming show, “Quiero mi boda”. The show takes an inside look at cross-cultural weddings and the hustle and bustle surrounding them…. uniting two people from completely different cultural backgrounds (one being Latino), with different tastes, traditions, family values and sometimes even different languages, and shows how these unique couples’ lifetime unions come to life. Since this is a reality for many couples, I think the show may capture some interesting insights!!! If interested in applying, check out (www.mtvtr3s.com) for more information. And Clients- if you are interested, just let me know!!
Now, since we are on the topic of “Latinos” and with summer and sunshine here, I thought the New Jones Crema de Pina Pure Cane Sugar drink would be a great pre-ceremony drink to serve your guests. The color yellow is refreshing and the bilingual label that reads, “Bienvenidos” (Welcome) sends the perfect message to guests while bringing a Latin flair to your special day. You can purchase the bottles online at www.myjones.com. Looking for a more personalized touch…Jones Pure Cane Soda also offers customized labels (with photos!). Another great detail to make your day even more “signature”!
